49 pertuduhan untuk En. MO1 dan Pn. MO1...
Rosmah pakai warna oren...

Mr.MO1 and Mrs.MO1 combined 49 charges up till now!
Rosmah didakwa cuba ganggu saksi Halim Saad...

Perintah larangan cuba dekati saksi.

- mk
The wife of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak was charged with 17 money laundering offences on Thursday, as anti-graft agents investigate billions of dollars missing from state coffers.

Rosmah Mansor, criticized for her extravagant lifestyle as first lady of Malaysia, and Najib, are at the center of a wide-ranging graft probe launched after Prime Minster Mahathir Mohamad’s stunning election victory in May.

Najib faces 32 charges from money laundering to abuse of power and criminal breach of trust over billions of dollars that went missing from state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). He has denied any wrongdoing.

It was not clear if the charges against Rosmah relate to 1MDB, but Rosmah’s arrest came after three rounds of questioning by anti-graft agents over 1MDB, from which U.S. authorities say over $4.5 billion was misappropriated. Last Wednesday, Rosmah was questioned for nearly 13 hours.

After spending a night in detention following her arrest by anti-graft investigators on Wednesday, Rosmah entered a Kuala Lumpur court on Thursday flanked by dozens of armed police officers, and smiling, waving and blowing kisses at the media.

Rosmah was charged with 17 counts under the anti-money laundering law. She was accused of handling funds of about 7.1 million ringgit ($1.71 million) from unlawful activities, and failing to declare the amount for tax purposes. Continue reading...

Musykil patik atas ogehan PAS...

Image may contain: 5 people, people sitting

Anwar's many rivals in PD...
PKR incoming president Anwar Ibrahim is facing a legion of rivals beyond our imagination in Port Dickson, making life a little difficult for him.

Little wonder he admitted he had a lot of enemies in addition to countless of supporters, and that these enemies were doing everything they could to stop him from returning to the Parliament, or hope he would win with a razor-thin majority that would see his credibility eroded.

These unexpected competitors have since sparked a plethora of speculations. For example, former Negeri Sembilan MB Mohd Isa Abdul Samad was close to Mahathir during BN's time. He was made Negeri Sembilan MB in 1982, a year after Mahathir took over as prime minister. He abandoned his state seat for parliament in 2004, a year after Mahathir stepped down.

Rumors had it that Mohd Isa was a candidate planted by Tun M, and would join PPBM if he made it in the election. Isa has since refuted the allegation. Then for whom is Isa joining the PD race? If he does it for himself, his scandals are not going to be overwritten even if he gets elected. If he does not make it, he will only offend the PM-in-waiting and PKR.

Weirdly, PPBM president Muhyiddin Yassin announced two days shy of the nomination to dissolve the Negeri Sembilan PPBM for restructuring by supreme council member Rais Yatim. If the state PPBM is dissolved, how is the party going to campaign for Anwar? Why can't Muhyiddin wait until after the by-election?

As for Mohd Saiful, the guy in Anwar's sodomy case, what puts him in the race? Keeping a very low profile ever since Anwar was put in jail, Saiful has slowly drifted out of public focus. Falling into the limelight again in PD is poised to enrage Anwar's supporters.

Again, he vanished from public vision soon after the nomination. No traces of his whereabouts, no campaign activities, as if his only motive of entering the fray is to reawaken memories of Anwar's sodomy case, as some have argued.

According to the sodomy case affidavit, Saiful met Najib and former PKR youth chairman Mohamad Ezam Mohd Noor after the case came into picture, showing that he indeed was well connected politically.
Why does Anwar have so many enemies? Given his position in politics, Anwar understandably invites the displeasure of many, including PAS president Hadi Awang. He was the coordinator to bring DAP and PAS together to form Pakatan Rakyat, but Hadi simply was not going to accept Anwar as PR's candidate for premiership. The subsequent internal conflicts that built up eventually brought down the alliance.

Between Mahathir and Anwar, it appears that Hadi is more receptive to the former despite the harsh criticisms the new PM has lashed out at his party. Hadi feels that Mahathir should continue to run this country until the end of his 5-year term, adding that he does not want to see someone with lust to rule.

This explains why Ahmad Zahid boycotts the by-election and has urged PAS to do the same. Hadi Awang nevertheless will not give heed, questioning Anwar instead why he has not chosen to contest in a Muslim-majority seat. Staying away from the three earlier by-elections in Selangor, Hadi's decision to make a personal appearance in PD marks his intensified confrontation with Anwar.

Given the many rival contestants in Port Dickson, Anwar is not going to take things too lightly, and has shown up at more than ten campaign events within the first 36 hours. Among his six rivals, only two are of any significant threat to him, namely Mohd Isa and PAS' Mohd Nazari Mokhtar, but they're focusing only on Malay areas.

Malay voters make up 43% of all voters in PD. Assuming Malay votes are equally distributed among PH, Umno and PAS, Anwar should be able to emerge victorious thanks to 33% of Chinese and 22% of Indian votes there. But to win it big, the turnout has to be at least 80%.

Besides picking a future PM for the country, the PD race also produces another important outcome: the complete severance between Anwar and Hadi and hence, an end to Umno's hope of a unity government with PH and PAS, as Ahmad Zahid has asserted. - mysinchew

Adios UMNOOOO...

Najib sebak mengalir airmata kesedihan, hilang kuasa, dibebani bala buatan sendiri, dan UMNO, dulunya menjadi kuda pondan pacuannya, bakal hilang riwayatnya sebelum akhir tahun ini. Tahun 2018 bersejarah.

Image may contain: 3 people, text
Sejauh mana dan apa kesalahannya masih belum dipastikan. Perbicaraan masih belum dijalankan.

- f/bk
Najib, Azzeez, Shafee all a done deal. And now literally and physically the biggest fish among them all…FLOM.  How much better can it get? What about Nazri Aziz and Shahrizat? Don’t worry too much about Zahid…he will go in to…it is just a matter of when. And once they are done with the politicians they can start bringing the KSU’s in….and that Irwan Seregar guy should be the first to be paraded in cuffs! Yep this guy below! - ste

The troublemakers of Port Dickson...
I never thought I would hear Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's name again, the man the late Karpal Singh branded a liar. In the Sodomy II trial, Karpal did not accept a single cent from Anwar Ibrahim as his defence lawyer because he believed that Saiful and the BN cohort behind him were orchestrating a grand conspiracy.

In the trial, Saiful contradicted himself multiple times, made numerous inconsistent statements, and had given rise to grave doubts against the prosecution’s allegations. Despite being a college dropout, Saiful could breeze through the then-deputy prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s house before the incident willy-nilly, and get in touch with the top police of the country with ease. And now he's running against Anwar in Port Dickson.

The only other candidate of note is former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Mohd Isa Abdul Samad, whose tenure as Felda chairperson saw the company bleeding money at the expense of rural poor settlers.

The candidates standing against Anwar have two things in common. One, they are launching an anti-Anwar hate campaign targeting his character. Two, they are taking this by-election as an opportunity to obtain 14 days personal glory in the guise of democracy.

On the face of it, the seven-cornered fight could be seen as a celebration of democracy. But while democracy means defending your fellow citizen’s right to contest at the by-election, it doesn’t necessarily follow that you must support them. This is because the opposition against Anwar in this particular by-election is fraught with the two elements: hatred and opportunism. All in the guise of 'democracy'.

Undemocratic?

They say that Anwar’s decision to contest in the Port Dickson by-election is undemocratic because voters are being betrayed. They say people did not vote Pakatan Harapan in to see this; that this was a severing the people’s trust. But this argument is unsustainable. The democratic impulse is not forgone.

One, the people of Port Dickson are not deprived of the most fundamental democratic component: choice. Democracy is only ruined if incumbent Danyal Balagopal Abdullah switched places with Anwar without an election, and Anwar is appointed MP internally without the consent of the people. Here, there is an election, there is a choice.

Two, Danyal was not coerced into any arrangements beyond his preference. He stated many times his decision was voluntary.
Three, even if we assume that this was undemocratic under normal circumstances, Anwar’s situation is highly exceptional. The key event was the conspiratorial, politically-motivated imprisonment that suspended democracy in 2015.

By saying Anwar cannot contest now in the false name of democracy is to give power, validity, and recognition to the undemocratic practice of jailing him and preventing him from running in the first place.

Nepotistic?

They say their opposition against Anwar in Port Dickson is a sign of protest. They say Anwar should have contested in Pandan or Permatang Pauh to take the place of Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail or Nurul Izzah Anwar. But the claim of nepotism is valid only when the person could not have obtained the position without the favour of family or relatives.

In this case, we can all agree that individually and collectively, the Anwar family won most of what they have now on their own merits. You can call her a seat-warmer, but Wan Azizah has helped make PKR the largest party in the country in terms of representation in Parliament.

Nurul Izzah has also long walked out of her father’s shadow into becoming one of the most intelligent, eloquent, and progressive politicians Malaysia has in her own right. Her rejection of a ministerial post she was more than qualified for is testament to her resolve to separate family from power.

Collectively, however, they are also made examples of with the usual shiftless claims of nepotism. The family of Lim Kit Siang, with Guan Eng, and Hui Ying, and the family of Karpal, with Gobind Singh, Ramkarpal Singh, Jagdeep Singh and Sangeet Kaur, are no different.

There is a struggle behind their participation in politics that cannot be simply dismissed by idle claims of nepotism. We must bear in mind that these families have seen their forbears go through jail, vilification, and failure in the name of the struggle.

Their initial participation was not in the hope of power and glory – there was, at the time, none to be had – but it was forced against the unsettling face of injustice. If we observe it this way, we would no longer see them as a burden, but an addition to our collective consciousness infused with righteousness and honest conviction.
Impatient?

They say Anwar is too impatient, that he should have waited two years. And in any case, he is too untrustworthy to become prime minister since he is too cosy with Umno lawmakers. But this argument is unsubstantiated. Anwar and Mahathir have repeated a million times that Mahathir will remain prime minister only for two years from May 2018, and Anwar will be his one and only successor.

Anwar has repeated time and again that he will adhere to the succession plan and provide support and room for the latter to govern. Besides, if everyone already expects Anwar to assume the premiership at two years, a by-election is required in any event.

The claim of impatience is in actuality informed by a personal hatred for Anwar. They think that Anwar cannot be prime minister because he is untrustworthy. However, there is no basis to substantiate how, why, and when Anwar has shown signs of betrayal.

It was Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi himself who said he didn’t meet Anwar, but instead met Mahathir twice. It was Anwar himself that said a unity government with Umno is not in the works. It was the people who relied on the backs of a Reformasi machinery that promised to pardon Anwar and making him the eighth prime minister that saw BN deposed for the first time. And now of course, like his whole life, there are many who will embark on variegated tactics to stop Anwar in his tracks. Even when Anwar had not done anything to warrant such treatment.

My guess is that these are planned by troublemakers intent on splitting apart the Harapan government. You do this by making sure the Mahathir-Anwar succession is broken. You do this by making sure Anwar doesn’t win the by-election. And you do this by standing against him. Throw the government into instability, and voters will start to distrust a government who cannot fulfil their promises.

I may be proven wrong. Maybe some of the candidates in Port Dickson are sincere in their desire to serve the constituents and can make good MPs. But as things stand, it is hard to see anything else but an opportunistic, orchestrated hate campaign against Anwar. - James Chai

- mk

Pakatan jahat yang tak diredhai...
Najib Razak dikaitkan dengan pembunuhan mendiang Kevin Morias, sekarang menjadi suspek utama perancang pembunuhan tersebut. Ini belum lagi dibuka lain2 kes pembunuhan seperti Altantunya & Najedi.

Sejak dari tahun 2015, Hadi Awang dilihat begitu bersungguh-sungguh cuba mempertahankan Najib dan mahu Najib terus berkuasa walaupun mengetahui Najib terpalit dengan berbagai skandal kewangan & pembunuhan.

Malah Hadi tanpa berselindung menyeru rakyat Msia mengundi UmnoBN.

- f/bk
Making Sense Of Child Marriages...
It all began in June when a 41-year-old rubber tapper in Kelantan decided to marry the girl of his dreams, an 11-year-old and barely pubescent Thai Muslim child without the approval of the state’s shariah court. A month later in July another 44-year-old father of two who took the hand of a 15-year-old child to be his lawful-wedded third wife. This guy, however, was a bit smarter he sought the permission of the religious court. The former but less enlightened man was fined RM1800 for his dalliance with shariah requirement.

The two incidences, though not the only ones, set the backdrop for the on-going debate about child marriage and the laws governing it.

Under local laws both Muslim and non-Muslim children are allowed to marry. For non-Muslims, the minimum marriage age for boys and girls is 18, but non-Muslim girls aged 16 can get married with prior approval of the state’s head of government namely, the Menteri Besar or Chief Minister.

Under state Islamic laws the marriageable age is 18 for boys and 16 for girls but shariah courts have the authority to give consent to those below the permitted age to be betrothed. There is no minimum marriage age for Muslims. The reason, which is so often alluded to when such an arrangement takes place is, if Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) could marry Ayesha who was only nine and the Prophet was 53, there is no reason why other Muslims could not do so.

But that was almost 1400 years ago. Things were definitely different then than they are today. Malaysia is no barren and sandy land like Saudi Arabia. We are not dependent on camels, mules and horses to be mobile. We don’t use swords and scimitars to ward off our enemies. I am not questioning religious tenets and traditions (Hadiths). Modernity has its differences. It is how we interpret things that matter, not downright submission to laws and obligations. Blind loyalty has its pitfalls.
Image result for child marriage in kelantan
Granted my late mother got hitched when she was 15. She gave birth to my eldest brother when she was 16 and yours truly when she was 18. She married my father a few months before the Japanese surrender in August 1945. The uncertainty following the end of hostilities saw many families going broke. Civil unrest was the order of the day engineered by the fighting elements of the outlawed Malayan Communist Party (MCP) culminating with the declaration of a state of Emergency on June 16, 1948. This lasted for 12 long years until July 12, 1960. However, remnants of the party continued to give our security forces many anxious moments until the Hatyai peace accord signed between the MCP and the Malaysian Government on December 2, 1989.

Now back to child marriage, per se. Lawyers for Liberty and other rights groups are of the opinion that continued inaction by the government over marriages involving minors is making Malaysia a haven for paedophiles. They unanimously rejected Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah’s insistence that the union between the 15-year-old bride and a man 30 years her senior was “consensual”. They termed it “breathtakingly irresponsible”. Latheefa Koya, director of Lawyers for Liberty, called upon the Inspector General of Police to take action against perverted sex predators who use marriage as a licence to have sex with children.

I cannot, in my wildest dreams, imagine my 14-year-old granddaughter or her slightly older niece being married off to some dirty old men who have nothing much in mind but the fulfilment of their sexual fantasies. It’s downright disgusting.

Poverty is no reason to give away your underage children to some strangers so they could live a better life. The parents of the 11-year-old Thai Muslim girl have 13 kids. Makes me wonder why poverty is always associated with ignorance and religion. The more pious the family is, the more children they will sire. Perhaps it is in the teaching. Family planning and birth control are two taboo subjects in Islam and among Catholics. No offence meant.

I was at Clare Rewcastle Brown’s book launch at Tower Regency Hotel, Ipoh on Saturday, September 22. One glaring thing that stood out like a sore thumb was the conspicuous absence of Malays among the 300-odd crowd. There were barely a handful of them, yours truly included. The most highly publicised thievery cum larceny in the world and yet so few Malays were present to hear what a brave lady from London had to say.

And mind you, the grand theft was committed by a Malay who became Prime Minister by default. A high-living Malay politician who felt he had every right to do what he did. What activist Hishamuddin Rais said about the Malay minds being “bonsai-fied” (indoctrinated) is true. The scene is similar at all gatherings be it social or academic, the number of Malays is so few sometimes hardly a handful.

During a talk by Mariam Mokhtar recently a member of the audience asked why Malays seldom attend talks and seminars, especially when they are conducted in English. Lawyer and social activist Haris Ibrahim, who was in attendance, challenged everyone present to bring five Malay friends each to his talk to be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia. There were no takers, as they all knew it was extremely difficult.

This is the real Malaysia and it will remain as such for so long as the majority wish to remain non-committal, indifferent and aloof preferring to be the anointed master race without any visible clout. Need I say more? - Fathol Zaman Bukhari,Ipoh Echo

PAS Hadi Awang and UMNO Zahid Hamidi - Whispering

Terdahulu Mohd Amar ditanya mengenai kemungkinan hubungan dekat kedua-dua parti mendorong bekas menteri kanan BN, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed meninggalkan Umno pada 18 Sept lalu.

Pemimpin Pas ni takde kerja lain cakap pasal politik, mengorat la, konar baring la seolah2 negeri yg perintah byk duit bukan nya fikir dan bincang pasal rakyat nak cari makan mcm mana, negeri nak Maju mcm mana... takde duit nak bayar gaji pergi minta sedekah dgn org lain. otak penjual Ubat betul la.. sedar lah rakyat skrg susah nak hidup .. kau org sibuk pasal politik2 .. puak ahli pas yg sokong pemimpin mcm ini memang bahlul dan tolol - Abu Talib

Inilah falsafah putaralam parti ajaran sesat. - Zulkifli Aziz

Najib – Your Admission To RM2.6 Billion “Contingency Fund” Has Expedited 25 New Charges...

World’s biggest crook – Malaysia former Prime Minister Najib Razak – has finally been arrested and charged (after spending a night in detention) for the infamous US$681 million 1MDB scandal. Popularly known amongst Malaysians as the RM2.6 billion theft, Mr. Najib has been slapped with 21 counts of money laundering and a separate 4 counts of power abuse.

Today’s charges are the latest on top of Najib’s other existing charges over a sum of RM42 million belonging to 1MDB’s former subsidiary SRC International Sdn Bhd. Interestingly, he gets to walk away free as the Sessions Court has allowed him to pay his RM3.5 million bail in instalments, a decision which has invited displeasure from netizens who think the ex-premier is given special privilege.

Ever since the collapse of Najib regime in the May 9th polls, his highly-paid cybertroopers, propagandists and bloggers have been crying and screaming until foaming at the mouth that the ex-premier was innocent because the authorities have failed to charge him for the misappropriation of US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) found in his personal bank account.

Even after he was charged in July for criminal breach of trust (CBT) and abuse of power in connection with the transfer of RM42 million to his private bank account from former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International Sdn Bhd, Najib’s band of propagandists ignorantly argued that it had nothing to do with 1MDB. They tried to twist and spin that SRC and 1MDB are two different animals.

In reality, the four charges (three CBT charges and one charge of abuse of power) were just the beginning – the appetiser. The CBT involving SRC International Sdn Bhd was the easiest part of the entire multi-billion-dollar theft concerning 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Bhd). That’s because all the transactions of transferring the RM42 million to Najib’s private bank account were done locally.
The next phase would involve charging the ex-Thief-in-Chief over the US681 million (RM2.6 billion) transferred to his private bank account in March 2013. Today, that phase has kicked in. This second phase, slightly complicated but nevertheless a clear cut case, involved transactions that require assistance from foreign government as it involved Tanore Finance Corp account in Singapore.

The most complex of all – the coming soon “third phase” – would involve the U.S. Department of Justice lawsuits filed to seize assets that it said were the result of US$4.5 billion that was misappropriated from 1MDB. Mahathir administration is working with U.S.-DOJ on what appears to be the largest action brought under the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative.

Now that the authorities have finally moved to the second phase of US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) found stashed in his private bank account, what does Najib’s band of supporters have to say? Ahh, they would argue that the money wasn’t from 1MDB but donations from the generous Saudi Arabia royal house. Yes, that was what serial liar Najib has tried to convince the public recently.

About a week ago, Mr. Najib claimed that he had requested for cash from Saudi King Raja Abdullah when analysis conducted prior to the 2013 General Election had shown a bleak outlook – that his government could lose. Using his Facebook, he explained how the generous Saudi royal charity house deposited into his personal AmBank account over two transactions in 2013.

Calling it a “contingency fund”, Najib spiced up his donation story – claiming that the King Abdullah had actually wanted to give him US$800 million instead, but the son of Razak only took US$681 million from the King. Najib also claimed that the money was needed to counter opposition’s plan to form a new government by buying over up to 40 Barisan Nasional Member of Parliament.

Najib talked as if King Abdullah was his own father, willingly to splash close to a billion US dollar to help a Sunni-Muslim leader (Najib Razak) from being dethroned by another Sunni-Muslim leader (Anwar Ibrahim). He might have had committed an act of treasonous and treacherous by asking for money from a foreign power to interfere in the sovereignty of Malaysia.

From the beginning, Najib’s fairy tales about the US$681 million discovered in his private bank accounts were full of contradictions. At first, he denied the existence of the money. After months of denial, he claimed it was a “donation” given to him by a Saudi royal. He had even threatened to sue (only to chicken out) the Wall Street Journal who published that the money was from 1MDB funds.

His counsel, Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin, justified the U-turn not to file a defamation suit against the WSJ – “He (Najib) is not likely to get higher damages in the U.S. because he is not well known there.” And now, Najib said the money was borrowed and he had returned a huge bulk of it, proving that he wasn’t a crook who had stolen the money after all.

Najib has to make up his mind and get his story right. Was the US$681 million a donation or a loan from King Abdullah? If it was a donation, why was there a need to return it, let alone call it a “contingency fund”? Sure, the US$681 million deposited from Tanore Finance Corp account in Singapore subsequently saw the return of US$620 million back to the account in August 2013.

It’s worth to note that Najib was huffing and puffing about the so-called “contingency fund” only after Malaysia’s Deputy Police Chief Noor Rashid Ibrahim revealed that a jaw-dropping US$972 million went into Najib’s account, after moving through accounts linked to several companies (Good Star Limited, Aabar and Tanore) which had dealings with 1MDB.

But thanks to Najib’s admission (he had even released documents he claims are proof of Saudi donation) that he is indeed aware of the US$681 million flowed into his private bank account back in 2013, it makes prosecuting him for money laundering even easier. He should have kept his mouth shut and let the prosecutors prove everything.

Perhaps Najib has forgotten how he had claimed ignorance in 2015 – that he was “not aware” – of the transfers of the money to his accounts. He had even claimed that document showing the movement of cash from 1MDB through government agencies, banks and companies, before it landed at Najib’s accounts were doctored documents used to “discredit” his government.

Unfortunately for Najib, one of his important witnesses, former Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi, has changed his story about the Saudi donation. Back in August 2015, Mr. Zahid declared that he had met the wealthy Arab family who had donated the US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) that was channelled into then Prime Minister Najib Razak’s personal account.

Widely reported by foreign news, Mr. Zahid said the “king and prince”, whom he did not name, had donated the money because of Malaysia’s commitment in fighting terrorism, and being a moderate Muslim country with a plural society. He also claimed that the Arab family was impressed by how Malaysia, with its plural society, still managed to remain moderate without sidelining any other religions.

Zahid also proudly told all and sundry at a meeting with Kepong UMNO division that the donors were “Arab king and prince”, and that the royal family had decided to make the huge donation due to Najib’s anti-Jewish stance. More importantly, he said – “I saw the documents myself – the original documents, not photostated ones, and I also saw the money trail.”

However, by July 2018, after emerged from his 8-hour grilling by the anti-corruption commission, Zahid sang a different tune. In a short press conference, he told reporters about “wakil” (representative)” of the Arab family – not “Arab king and prince” – as he had claimed 3 years ago. He didn’t brag about the documents or cheque of the so-called donations.

Regardless of Najib’s twists and spins, the money trail which we at Finance Twitter had pieced together clearly shows that even the so-called donation from King Abdullah was originated from 1MDB funds. Looking at the chart, 1MDB was flushed with funds primarily from bonds sales (US$11.5 billion) and Deutsche Bank (US$1.225 billion).

Tanore Finance Corp, from where Najib said Prince Abdulaziz Al-Saud from Saudi Arabia had sent him the RM2.6 billion donation, had actually received US$1.26 billion from 1MDB in 2013. Flushed with the money, the Tanore Finance Corp then sent US$681 million to Najib’s private account. Even the SRC International Sdn Bhd received a huge chunk of US$232.9 million indirectly from Tanore Finance Corp.

The returned US$620 million to Tanore Finance Corp was later used to purchase a 22-K pink diamond necklace worth a staggering US$27.3 million, after US$32.76 million was transferred from Midhurst to a DBS Singapore bank account for Blackrock, one of many accounts held nominally by fugitive Jho Low under the alias of Eric Tan.

Therefore, it’s not an exaggeration to say that from the beginning Tanore Finance Corp was being used by Najib Razak (and the so-called Saudi royal family) together with his partner-in-crime Jho Low to launder money from 1MDB funds. The US-DOJ investigation shows no proof that the Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Al-Saud had funded Najib’s account from the royal house’s own money. - ft
